While at work tonight my good friend Amber stopped and chatted for a bit. She is an amazing photographer and gave me some AWESOME tips about my new lens.

A Couple Camera Tips I learned tonight:

#1. Check ISO  (take it down to 100)

#2. Check shutter speed. Start with 125 and take it higher if people are moving fast. For moving people she takes it to 400.

#3. Check F-Stop for what I use my camera for, I should have it at 2.0.

#4. Check out the meter and if it’s too far to the left take the ISO up to 200, check meter if it’s still too far to the left go up to 400 and so on. You never want the ISO to be really high in less you are in a really dark place. Also sometimes it’s ok to have photos a little over exposed.

Ok I am not sure if this made any sense at all. Maybe I should do a video?

I am up cleaning the kitchen as it is a DISASTER and waiting for Hubby to get home!! He had to work a little later then I did ๐Ÿ™

P.S. We had another delivery to some new parents!!  Yes, all of my friends are having babies! Hubby took them his famous vinegar chicken, broccoli, and brown rice. Must spread the REAL FOOD ๐Ÿ™‚
