Today was all about refueling and getting back to myself. I need day to truly relax and enjoy the simple things in life like PJ’s and baking 🙂 I spent all day in my PJ’s and it felt great. I did manage to clean the entire house but other then that my butt didn’t really leave the couch 🙂
I had planned on going to KB tonight but yesterday’s 2 hour boot camp & 3 hour dance party left me feeling like I was BEAT with a bat!!!! I watched a couple of my favorite chick flicks, You’ve Got Mail, Steal Magnolias, and Under the Tuscan Sun.
While I cooked dinner I baked some of Tina’s Homemade (Re)Fuel Bars
Like ALL of Tina’s recipes these puppies are super easy to make. So even you non I haven’t tasted them yet so I will have to let you all know how they taste later.
For dinner I made a healthy pasta pile. First layer 1 cup whole wheat pasta.
Second layer Roasted Brussels Sprouts, my favorite!
Added in some Chopped Sweet Potato.
Grilled Chicken and Marinara Sauce.
This pasta was the perfect combination of textures and flavors!!!
I also had a leftover salad on the side with some TJ’s Sweet Poppy Seed Dressing, this stuff is DA BOMB!
