Twas the day before…

Oh happy day!

Twas the day before the Marathon, and all through the house,
Every creature was sleeping– even the mouse.
The ipods and cameras were charging, their batteries dead;
Hubby made coffee, with some creamer instead.
Running Shoes and Sports bras just covered the floor,
while Upstairs the family continued to snore.
And I in my Robe, new Asics and shorts,Went into the kitchen and started to sort.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the sink to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,Tore open the curtains, and threw up the sash. When what to my wondering eyes should appear,Oh it’s Mrs.Rachel with a car full of gear.
Alight guys I am ready. Here is a recap on yesterday’s fine events, I just couldn’t find time to blog yesterday.

Mini-Meal #1

Yogurt,slivered almonds,sliced peaches,cottage cheese, and a little granola

Hydrating ALL day!

Lunch: Another Smorgasbord of leftovers, whole wheat couse couse, salmon, small salad, boiled egg whites, and a little chicken enchilada(small bite of the chefs). Not the best photo.

On Break I went and picked up some goodies for our road trip at Tj’s.

Mini-Meal #2

New fruit roll up from my run to TJ’s

When I got home I had a wonderful surprise sent to me from Natural Food, lots of Hemp milk and protein packs! Can’t wait to try them all:)

Dinner: I grilled Salmon for me and Steak for hubby. With brown rice, fresh salad, and some beans.

Later that night at community group I brought snack! I took hummus, salsa, pita chips ans organic tortilla chips. I also brought some yummy oatmeal and cherry cookies. All very healthful and everyone enjoyed! Wish I wouldn’t have snacked as much I was a little too full when I went to bed.

Today were leaving for Utah at 7am hoping to get there around 3ish, hit the expo and then hit the sack. We have to be at the shuttle in the morning at 4am! Well I can’t wait to let you know how it all goes… Thank you for all your kind words and support!
