{Virtual} Coffee Date

If we were having coffee this morning I would tell you that I am looking forward to the 21 Summer Detox with 50 other amazing women! I will miss coffee and wine, but after the summer I have had this couldn’t have come at a better time.

If were having coffee this morning I would tell you that we are finished with every last detail for the adoption, and are just waiting to sign one last paper! WE have big plans to finish the nursery (newest additions below) this weekend and praying even more over this house and that room. God’s got big plans and I can’t wait to see them unfold. Even if we never see them unfold completely, we will still trust and we will still choose joy.

They will have a signature Breakfast Café, performance shirts sized for women, professional timing, personalized race bibs, new custom finisher medals specific to the event, Iron Girl jewelry age group awards, post-race giveaways and much more!!! I even have a great discount code for you all to use so you can sign and up and join me, $10 off registration only .Coupon Code: NHERSHOES. You can register here. I will be chatting more about this very soon! I can’t wait to start training.

If we were having coffee this morning I would tell you that next week I will be participating in the GPP RX+Week! 5 days of two-a-day workouts (11 total workouts), I know I am crazy…I CAN’T wait! It’s going to be awesome to pair this with the detox!

If we were having coffee this morning I would tell you that I am super excited about what the Lord is doing with NHS Fitness! It’s been such an amazing summer watching lives be transformed! So many people finding optimal health and taking back their lives through the Summer Shred’s. If you missed out, don’t worry I have an opportunity for you too coming soon!

If we were having coffee this morning I would tell you that I didn’t get the RunWestin job. I know, kind of a let down. I found out Thursday, but the best part is I will still be working with them on the social media level which is awesome! I also know that everything happens for a reason and I really had to preach to myself and CHOOSE JOY this week. What an amazing opportunity as well as an honor to even make it to the top 3 out of over 1,000 applicants. Don’t get me wrong I was bummed, but then I was excited because when one door closes there are a lot more to be open!

  1. I’m sorry about the Westin job, but that just means there are different plans for your future. I love your attitude….I often say that I choose joy. If not I would live a sad life.

  2. ***squeeel*** YAY for adoption! We have 7 children (4 via the blessing of adoption) and it has totally rocked my world! Love your tat, by the way! Choose Joy, my friend, and be blessed!

  3. some day i will have REAL coffee with you again and then spend all day hanging out till we can go to dinner and then sip on wine and talk life. The lord is doing great things through you Bobbi! <3

  5. hey sweetie! sorry to hear you didn’t get the job. i was sure you were going to. do you know who did?

like i always say, everything happens for a reason, so there are bigger and better things that God has planned for you, sweetheart <3 clearly, you have more to offer to the world than you would have offered with that job, so just be patient and kind to yourself. something better is coming 🙂

    love you

p.s. so happy your shelf arrived! that was nice and quick 🙂

  6. I love the “choose joy” attitude. It’s so true. We can’t choose our circumstances, but we can choose how we respond to them.

If we were having coffee this morning, I’d listen patiently to you tell me you didn’t get the job. I’d smile and tell you I’m sorry but share with you the wonderful things that are happening in your life, the way NHS Fitness is soaring, your adoption is moving forward, and your marriage is going strong. I’d let you have your moment of “well hell, I didn’t get it.” Then, the moment would pass and you’d pick up your cup and I’d whisper that you are amazing and big things are coming….<3 Keep going strong, Keep your Faith on the forefront, and keep choosing joy.

  8. You have such an inspiring attitude. I believe the best is coming your way.

  9. I’m sorry you didn’t get the RunWestin job 🙁 but I honestly 100% agree with you that god does everything for a reason. Maybe there is a baby coming your way soon & he knew that job would require lots of travel & time away! I also love the quote…”when a door closes, god opens a window”…there are so many other amazing opportunities in your future, I just know it 🙂

  10. I think your Choose Joy is the best idea in the world. I think I may adopt it this year during all our change!

  11. Choose Joy!!! I am excited to see what is in store for u. I am also excited to be participating in the sugar detox!!!!

  12. I love your attitude! I just lost my job on Thursday and it has been really hard to stay positive and focus on things when all I can think about is where money and a job will come from. I love your “Choose Joy” – it is true, but sometimes it just is hard. I am so excited for you with the adoption – i’m adopted and it always warms my hearts to see other families doing the same! Have a great weekend!

    1. I am so sorry to hear that and I will be praying for you Sara! Yes, keep your eyes up and never lose hope!

  13. So many amazing things going on with so many adventures ahead!!! I’m so excited for you Bobbi and can’t wait for you to bring a little one home!!! EEK! And what a great time you’re going to have with all that training and racing! 🙂

  14. I agree with Jaima! I’m a new reader, and I’m glad I found your blog. It’s nice to read the words of a fellow Christian with such a vibrant spirit. When I was looking for a job last fall, I had to constantly remind myself that God has a plan for me, and now I have a great job doing what I love (I’m a teen services librarian). Keep up the positive spirit, and best of luck with your adoption!

  15. You have such an amazing spirit! Thank you for reminding all of us that God’s plan for our life is greater than we can even imagine.
