I have been thinking a lot about what gifts that I want to give this year to friends and family. Yes, I am the girl who is crazy and loves going Black Friday shopping (I KNOW NUTZO). I love blasting my Christmas music in my car, wear my cozies, drink my first peppermint mocha, enjoy taking my TIME through different stores and not worry about the rush! I also love the shopping time with my girlfriends.
Aside from maybe grabbing a few things on Black Friday in stores, I got most of my gifts this year from small businesses on Saturday! Here are just a few of my favorites:
2. Refresh Attire (I had to give us a plug) Open and ready to SHIP!
3. Reverent Creations: The cutest necklaces with TRUTH!
4. MegNCreations: These cute coffee cozies! Megan has all kinds of designs and colors!
5. Â She Does Justice: A stylish way to give back!
10. Ollie and Bear
These have changed my life. I ordered the started kit and LOVE it! We have been swearing away our almost sickness with Thieves and RC like crazy! Seriously one of the best gifts you could ask for!
12. The Happiness Seeker ( closed until January but a great place to shop)
13. She Reads Truth  Cause how cute are these mugs?
Question: What are you favorite small businesses?Â

I have been thinking a lot about what gifts that I want to give this year to friends and family. Yes, I am the girl who is crazy and loves going Black Friday shopping (I KNOW NUTZO). This year I can’ t wait to blast my Christmas music in my car, wear my cozies, drink my first peppermint mocha, enjoy taking my TIME through different stores and not worry about the rush!
Aside from maybe grabbing a few things on Black Friday in stores, I plan to get most of my gifts this year from small businesses on Saturday! Here are just a few of my favorites:
2. Refresh Attire (I had to give us a plug) Open tomorrow-MONDAY December 1st!
3. Reverent Creations: The cutest necklaces with TRUTH!

Oh how I love our morning {virtual} coffee dates together. I wish I could seriously sit down with each of you and give you a big warm hug and hear what is going on in each of your lives.
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you… how this ‘early bird’ is BACK!
It’s a bit funny how I wake up in the mornings. I roll over look at the time (praying it’s around 5am), look at the baby monitor (praying that RJ is asleep), and if she is I feel like I have won a race! I wanted my body to get used to getting up at 5am on it’s own without an alarm and you know how I did it… by getting up every morning at the same time! And knowing that my yummy pumpkin spice coffee is waiting for me in the kitchen.
It’s the little things people. I also have made it a point to climb into bed before 10pm every night as well. I just love rising early and enjoying a cup of joe while reading God’s word. It sets the tone of the day!
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you…Â that I am super excited about the half marathon I am doing in Temecula this weekend!
It’s one that I have already done and I know it’s a tough course filled with hills and trails, but afterwards the Hubby and I get to have a ‘day date’ enjoying lunch at my favorite winery and having a relaxing Sunday. We will miss the babe for sure, but it will be nice to have some good quality time together.
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you…Â that the Refresh Summit is SOLD OUT! God is so faithful! I am so excited in less than a month we get to worship and workout with some beautiful ladies. I also can’t wait to see my Tennessee family and spend some time in my college neighborhood.
You can still purchase a raffle ticket or 10 until the end of the week to help raise some funds for a scholarship for someone to attend the Summit! There are some incredible gifts that we are giving away! Check it out!
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you…Â that our Refresh Attire shop CLOSES this Friday. Don’t forget to purchase one of our limited edition t-shirts! This one the Hubby designed and I just love it!
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you… that I am working hard at getting the Holiday Shred 2014 READY for this year!
Don’t worry… sign-ups will start Saturday, November 1 with the Shred starting Sunday, November 23rd and go through Christmas. It will be a six-week program filled with Bobbi-Bootcamp style workouts, simpler meal plans, videos, yummy recipes and lots more!
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you…Â that I am loving The Best Yes book by Lisa Terkurst.
It is challenging me in so many ways and bringing new wisdom into my life. I thought I had saying ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ down pat, but boy was I wrong. I am into chapter 11 of and learning the power of a “small” no. How tempting it is to use NO as a weapon and just decline everything, for freedom in the white spaces. But those white spaces were meant for God’s BEST YES’S. It’s up to us to determine through God’s wisdom what our small No’s are, so we can give our best YES to his greatest assignments.
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you… that we’re dabbling in the thought of moving to Redlands.
Just being open to the idea just in case it is an option. We love our house and we love where we live, but we do a lot in Redlands and it’s a small town where we can walk to everything! It’s just a dream right now, but who knows what’s goona happen
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you…Â that I completed my longest bike ride to date this past weekend!
I rode 76 miles with my dear friend Susie! It wasn’t an easy task (that’s for sure), but my legs felt great. I had done some box jumps the day before (not smart) and felt some tension in my back. By mile 50 it was flaring up a bit, but it subsided and I mentally pushed through.
My 100 mile bike ride is less than two weeks away and I know more than anything it will mental more than physical. It’s going to be a beautiful ride in Oceanside and I am so grateful for Gatorade’s sponsorship to make this bucket list dream come true! After this month, I will be back to more strength workouts and less cardio, but for now… let the training press on!!
If we were having coffee this morning, I would tell you…Â that this season of motherhood is an adventure for sure!
RJ is on the MOVE! Not walking yet, but she is almost there. I am learning to let go of the mess and just enjoy her as much as I can. It’s not an easy task working from home and being a stay at home, but I wouldn’t change it for a minute.
It’s a balancing act daily and just when you think you have got it down, it changes! I have a full blog post on this coming soon.

Iâ€
ve got 5 Things for you on this beautiful Wednesday…
A day of great mourning. Today I pray for all that continue to be affected by the horrible tragedy of 9/11. I can’t believe it has been 13 years since that day happened.
On a lighter note, today is also my oldest brother’s birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!
We are off beach camping at this week with 16 other adults and 18 children!
This will be our third camping trip with this community of friends, but we missed out last year because we got to bring our RJ HOME! This will be our first camping trip as a family of three. I am exited and nervous all at the same time.
I am also sticking to my #WHOLE30 challenge while camping and hope to have a post next week on how I packed and how I did during this trip.
I am staying strong. We ate out a lot last week with family in town for RJ’s birthday, but I managed to to stick to clean eats and not quit (although one night I just wanted to enjoy some chips and salsa and a marg). I even froze one of RJ’s cupcakes from her birthday so I can enjoy a bite next month.
It’s actually been pretty easy, because I feel great! I think the no sugar and being able to have coffee part is helping. I just drink my coffee with a splash of almond milk. I am doing this to (a) see how this style of eating really makes me feel, (b) kick my sugar habit from this summer and (c) help my Mama stay accountable.
Only 2 more weeks to go. Best part of it all, it has encouraged me to use more whole foods and get in the kitchen. I will be sharing a meal plan at the end.
I know we still have a few more weeks of summer, but I still decided to hang some fall decorations and start lighting the pumpkin candles.
Fall has a new sense of amazing memories for me now, mainly because it was right when we brought RJ home for the first time. I remember the few days before RJ came home, I put up all the fall decorations so when she came home, it was nice and cozy. I have always loved fall, but now I love it even more!
This will be the last time for a full month that you will be able to purchase Refresh Attire tanks and tees.
It will also be the LAST TIME we will be offering the FIT SO I CAN BE ME designs.

…in 10 more days! I can’t believe it has almost been 365 days for this beauty!!!
]]>If we were having coffee right now…I would tell you that I am getting sad and excited that summer is almost over. Sad because I love the sun, excited because FALL is my favorite. I am truly enjoying every moment with having RJ in our home this summer. I have been loving our “Friday Fun Days”. As much as possible I have tried to disconnect from all technology and head out to do something fun with just RJ and I or with friends. Â I have to say this Summer I have dug deep into God’s word and have tried to rest even in the busy days. Loving this summer season, but I think I am ready for the next (I think).
If we were having coffee right now…I would tell you that I am in a huge rut with my workouts right now! I just finished my last shred and I loved all the workouts! Â I started doing some fun new classes at the YMCA, like Body Pump and TRX, but I am kinda all over the place. Â For a while I was ok with getting anything in at all was good enough..but now I need a plan. So I sat down last week and made some new August goals and a new workout plan that will include a little HIT training, spin, body pump and a day of running. I love mixing it up, as long as I know what’s coming. Being in a season of not training for anything is hard for me, when I have something to train for I can be as dedicated as ever! I honestly even thought about training for a bikini competition, not actually being in one..but just training for one..ya that idea quickly left my mind!
If we were having coffee right now...I would tell you how I just got back from Palm Springs! I know I just got back with the Hubby, but my good friend Susie invited me to go out there with her and her kiddos to stay at her time share. We didn’t do a whole lot, which was perfect. We played in the water, made our meals together, had slow chill morning, and just rested. It was really nice to step away for a bit, before her kids go back to school and summer ends! I was blessed  that RJ and I got tag along for the fun!
If we were having coffee right now…I would tell you that the life of a stay at home working mama is hard work! I know that if you follow me on IG, it must look like I can do it all! Well let me be the first to tell you that it’s with GOD’s STRENGTH alone that I have any energy at all. Early morning wake ups to trying to get in a blog post, shirt design, workout plan for a client or just a moment to breathe is a constant wonderful balance. I wouldn’t change it for the WORLD! But the key to staying home and working is having a PLAN! Even if that plan get’s mixed up, tossed out the window, or changed for the better you still have some direction and vision for the week. This week I had no idea we were headed to Palm Springs, so I had to shift some things around and now have to play a bit of catch up, which is fine… I may not sleep as much the rest of the week. It’s a give and take. I am also loving our new office/playroom/guest room, it has really been a great space to get creative!
If we were having coffee right now… I would tell you about our two new cute designs over at Refresh Attire! Come on you all know I had to make a burpee shirt!!! You have until August 17th to order. We have some new hoodies, that are so comfy!

If we were having coffee right now…I would tell you how I can’t wait to tell you all about the next SHRED! It’s going to be something totally different than all the Shred’s I have ever done! It won’t just be a Shred for your body and mind…it will be a shred for your spirit as well. If all goes well, it should launch in October! So stay tuned.
