Hello friends 🙂 I am back from an amazing week at Family Camp!
Getting away for a week was exactly what the Hubby and I needed. Away from the emails, phone calls, TV, radio, and blogging. I was blessed to experience my work for what it is all about, sanctuary and solitude.
When was the last time you were sung to sleep by crickets or awakened by the sun kissing your face? When was the last time you boldly took the time to dream, to wonder, and to wander? Whether we are children or adults, we still need those moments now and that is exactly what we got.
Our fun home for the week..
Where we spent time reading and chilling, something I never get enough of!
We also had the pleasure of bringing up my niece Aliyse with us and “practiced†being parents 😉
Isn’t she a doll?
Christmas picture???
We enjoyed many fine dinners…
With friends 🙂
Enjoyed some oh so BAADDD but good treats 🙂
We played A LOT!
Faced our fears…
Got wet in the creek :)
Lived in the pool 😉
Enjoyed the sunrise at breakfast..
D even came up with 4 week old sweet Evey!
I could just eat her up!
We took the family games seriously! Girls rule..
Boys drool!
Fun times at the lake!
Late evenings playing spoons..
This year a lot of staff came the same week! There were about 60 families at camp and we were about 1/2 of them 🙂 Love this group!
We also learned a lot from the speaker Albert Tate. I would say the one thing I really took away is that I need to let go of my to-do list and just BE!! I need to be the woman that God has created me to be and stop worrying so much about the future and focus on all that is going on right now in my life. It’s hard for me to just BE, but I am going to work on it 🙂
I feel so refreshed and rejuvenated!!! I feel so lucky to call this place my work!!

As soon as I got back to “real†life, I had a baby shower and an UNBIRTHDAY party to attend! But these are two separate blog post to come soon 🙂
As if partying it up wasn’t enough, I also had a new baby to go visit!! My other BFF Ging had her baby Friday 🙂
Welcome precious little Jenna!
I am off to teach kickboxing and enjoy my first Sunday off in 9 weeks!!!!

This kind of theme commonly doesn’t interest me, and you get managed to create this informative article in the distinctive fashion. It’s not really monotonous and When i read the slide without having stopping once. Although unrelated in order to my web site, worthy of linking to….
I wanted to thank you for this very good read!! I absolutely loved every little bit
of it. I’ve got you bookmarked to look at new stuff you post…
