Brussels Sprouts Done Right!

Last night the Hub’s and I had the best night! We poured some wine and had a pizza and packing party!!!!

Not just any pizza, but the best chicken pizza ever and a brussels sprouts salad!

I got a little inspiration from Pinterest on how to chop and cook them over the stove. I normally put them in the oven with a little salt an pepper, but this is way better!

Garlic Lime Brussels Sprouts

After you have washed the sprouts and removed the stems, slice them thinly.

They will fall apart and begin to shred on their own.

Ingredients:

1lb brussels sprouts
2 slices pepperoni chopped into small pieces
1 garlic clove, minced
juice of 1 lime
a pinch of crushed red pepper (optional)
olive oil
Sliced red onion
salt and pepper

Directions:

Add a little olive oil to the pan and add your shredded brussels, garlic, pepperoni, lime, and crushed red pepper.

Cook for just a few minutes on medium heat, until brussels start to get tender.

When they are heated through, mix everything together and enjoy!

These brussels sprouts with this pizza made the cleanest pizza night in history.

Got to finish packing were headed out in a couple hours to get on a plane to Miami!
