Eating Banana Pancakes…

I love Sunday mornings, don’t you? It’s the one day of the weekend that I get to sleep in without an alarm. I still woke up at 7am, but I did go to bed last night at 9:30(old lady).

SATURDAY NIGHT AT CHILI’S

Hubby and I were headed out for our Costco trip last night, and as we were on our way there we realized it closes at 6pm on Saturdays and it was already 6:30. So we decided to grab something to eat instead. We decided to go to Chili’s, one of the places we ate at ALL the time when we were dating.

We debated on getting the chips at Chili’s, if they come out I always end up getting full because there so ADDICTING! We checked out the calorie count on our Iphone’s and they said there was only 400 calories, an 30 grams of fat in the whole basket!!! I think that’s a bunch of balagonie, that seems a little low. It did convince us enough to go ahead and get them;)

I also got this beauty. Chili’s is the one place on college that I used to get a beer at all the time, now it’s a very rare occasion that we come here so I had to get one. This beer was from a local brewery called Hanger 24. Here in our town we are known for our citrus groves , this was an Orange Wheat Beer, and it was crisp, tangy, and refreshing.

For dinner I had the Shrimp Fajita’s! I love the fajita’s at Chili’s:)

The lovely toppings, I only had the guacamole, salsa, and lettuce.

I made myself two of these, and saved the rest to take home. I used to be able to eat ALL of it!

Hubby got one of the choices off of the healthy menu, the Guiltless Chicken Platter. By the way an update on Hubby’s TBL challenge, he lost 7 pounds, and has decided to keep working at it:) What would have been perfect after this meal? SOFT SERVED YOGURT!!! We refrained. On the way home I fell asleep like a little kid in a car seat, Hubby almost had to carry me in. I haven’t fallen asleep in the car in forever, the sad part was it was only 8:30!

SUNDAY MORNING

I slept in until 7am jumped in the shower and made us some Peanutbutter Banana Pancakes. I used Bob’s Red Mill Organic High Fiber Pancake & Waffle mix, and added in some flax seed, vanilla, and pumpkin spice. I topped the pancakes with 0% FAGE, Naturally More PB, and 1/2 banana.

The perfect way to start a Sunday morning. Today we are going to try to hit up Costco again, and then we are going to meet up with some friends for a BBQ at Sunset Beach in Huntington.. I know they are going to have hamburgers, and hotdogs there, so we are bringing a SALAD to share:) I am so glad that I am going to make it to the beach at least ONE day on my Spring Break!!!

Q: What is one thing that you love to have at BBQ’s?
