Hubby and I have been married for almost 7 years now… CRAZY!

I remember when we first got married I told Hub’s that he had to still take me out on dates and WOO me! I WOO him too. I just love date nights and we have done them regularly since the day we met. I know the Holidays can get busy, but it’s a  great time to get romantic with your loved one!

Here is a list of some fun and cheap Holiday Date Night ideas:

1. Go to a local museum on one of their free nights and check out the Holiday decorations.
2. Make a pie together or even some festive sugar cookies.
3. Have a Ginger Bread House contest and winner gets a massage from the loser.
4. Jump in the car and turn on the local holiday station that plays nothing but holiday songs and check out the neighborhood lights.
5. Bundle up, grab a thermos and take a walk.
6. Head to the local coffee shop and play a game of scrabble or cards.
7. Curl up on the couch with a glass of hot cider, popcorn and your favorite Holiday movie.
8. Head up to the local mountains or somewhere with a beautiful view and try and draw your version of what you see.
9. Look at your local newspaper for free Christmas concert and dress up just for fun.
10. Put on your snow boots and go play in the snow. Snow ball fights are the best foreplay.
11. Go to the local library and find some of your favorite Holiday classics to read to one another.

  1. I’m curious to find out what blog platform you are using?
I’m having some minor security problems with my latest blog and I’d
like to find something more safeguarded. Do you have any suggestions?

  2. I’m really loving the theme/design of your web site.
Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility issues?
A handful of my blog readers have complained about my website not working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera.
Do you have any tips to help fix this problem?

  3. I don’t know if it’s just me or if perhaps everyone else experiencing problems with your blog.
It appears as though some of the text within your content are running off the screen.
Can someone else please provide feedback and let me know if this is happening to them too?
This may be a problem with my web browser because I’ve had
    this happen previously. Thank you

  4. A fraction of a second as well long within the water plus the fine and silken edge of your proper heat was lost, and Martin located time to marvel in the accuracy he created – an automatic accuracy, founded upon criteria that were machine-like and unerring. But there was little time in which to marvel. All Martin’s consciousness was concentrated inside the function. Ceaselessly active, head and hand, an intelligent machine, all that constituted him a man was devoted to furnishing that intelligence. There was no area in his brain for the universe and its mighty challenges. All of the broad and spacious corridors of his mind had been closed and hermetically sealed.

  6. These are all great ideas, and you’re right, it’s super important to still have date night! We have a four year old, so date night is extra special for us since it gives us time to be adults for the night=) My favorite from your list is #7, although usually its a glass of wine for me and a Jameson for my husband! Enjoy your holidays and all your planned date nights!

  11. My husband and I love going snowshoeing together. We get to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, wonder at God’s greatness and have fantastic conversation. The outing is usually followed by either a stop at a coffee shop or dinner to warm up!

Our State Parks (Minnesota) offer moonlit snowshoe, hiking and cross country skiing outings that are FREE or very low cost ($15 to rent snowshoes or skis). These events are a blast and perfect for a date night 🙂
