Mizuno Wave Enigma 5’s {Review}

The following post is sponsored by FitFluential LLC on behalf of Mizuno.

You all know that I just love running and even through my TRX training I am still getting in at least one 5-6 mile run a week, if not more. I love getting up early beating the heat and hitting the pavement. I am always looking for a light, yet supportive shoe. I have worn just about every brand out there, but this is my third pair of Mizuno’s and the Wave Enigma 5’s may be my favorite thus far!

“The new Mizuno Wave Enigma 5 raises the standards in cushioning with the introduction of u4ic-X (pronounced euphoric-x), Mizuno’s newest midsole foam technology that delivers the softest, most responsive cushiony ride. Combined with light and flexible materials to allow freedom of movement, the Enigma 5 offers additional cushioning with new U-shaped Wave® Technology to reduce shock at foot impact. This is the running shoe for those seeking the ultimate ride experience on a neutral platform with a smooth heel-to-toe transition.”

So in my words, they are very light and have a great cushion! I am always worried about a little too much chushion or the shoe being too light and not enough support, but not this shoe. Mizuno’s always fit me pretty true to size and give me a little wiggle room in my toes so I feel like they can bring. The colors that the Wave Enigma’s come in are super stylish and fashionable, plus teal is my favorite color.

VERDICT: The Mizuno Wave Enigma 5 is really a great running shoe for the neutral runner. It comes in two super cute colors (because let’s be honest us lady runners look at that) and it’s got about the same price tag as most all of the other runner shoes that I buy.
