This past weekend we had the joy of visiting my brother in Arizona. I had some work to do in Arizona, it was Hubby’s birthday (St.Patty’s Day BABY!), and Spring Training was going on!!! So we loaded up Patience and headed out to Phoenix. It’s only about 4.5 hours away and always worth the short trip.
When we arrived my Brother and Sister and Law treated us to a dinner at Benhiana’s! I wasn’t super hungry, but I enjoyed a veggie roll and any vegetables Hubby didn’t want to eat
We had an awesome chef! I loved the whole experience!
The highlight of the evening was this little sweet cheeks! My nice Kay Kay is too cute for words, she’s 3 going on 13!
We all sang Happy Birthday to Matt and she snuck up on him and blew out his birthday candle, it was hilarious!
Sunday morning my brother woke up bright and early while everyone slept in and went out for a 6 mile run! There is something about the Arizona air that makes running so much easier! The weather was so perfect and the skies were so blue!!!
So proud of him for pushing hard! We ran 6 miles in less then 50 minutes, he pushed me!
I was so excited to bust out my running SKIRT!! HELLO SPRING!
We visited a local church and then headed to the BALL GAME! We went to the Camelback Stadium to see the Dodgers vs. Brewers. I BLEED BLUE!
It couldn’t be perfect out….80 degree weather, baseball, a birthday, and beer (or two ) ! I enjoyed my once a year Dodger Dog (fist piece of meat I have had in over three months! it was amazing).
I think he’s ready ‘
My LUCKY CHARM!!!
After the game we headed to downtown for some St Patty drinks and dinner. We had a green Margaritas at Margaritaville and then went and ate at the Yard House for a meal. I ordered the Garden Spicy Noodle Salad (love that they have vegetarian options) and a light lemon drop martini, but after all the drinks and appetizers I saved it for later. It was a calorie heavy day and I enjoyed every bite!!
Such a fun spontaneous weekend!!!!
What did you do for St. Patty’s?
