Thankful For Rest

It was a great Holiday Weekend and it’s not over yet 🙂

Friday, I made it out for some BF shopping and I survived!!  We didn’t get out until 7am and it wasn’t packed at all!! I got almost all my Christmas shopping done and I might have found a few great deals for myself 😉 The sales were so worth it!!

After all the shopping and mayhem, Hubby and I got to relax with the Ocampo’s (and Christiano the cutest baby ever) for some dinner. We enjoyed some Trader Joe’s Fish Tacos! Have you had these?? You can take a little baked fish, cabbage, Trader Joe’s tarter sauce, and avocado… delish!

Somewhere in there I got in some runs (about 15 miles total) and some circuit workouts, boy did I need it! I really haven’t worked out much on this Holiday, the rest has been nice 🙂

Then we finished off the weekend for one last friend feast! Susie was making a Turkey and invited some runner friends over to enjoy it with her, of course Hubby and I were in! I brought some fresh cranberries, an apple and butternut squash casserole, and some of Hubby’s favorite creamed corn. Thankful for friends!

All of these celebrating has reminded me how blessed I am to have such wonderful family and friends! I love the holiday season it makes me so happy to be alive and healthy 🙂 Never EVER take anything for granted, NEVER!

I am looking forward to having two more days off to get back on track!! I love all the yummy food, but I am ready to start eating REAL FOOD again and get back to the gym.  I am joining Michelle’s 10 Day Eating Clean Challenge!

I may or may not have had over 9 hours of sleep each night 😉

The Holiday Shred starts today and I am hitting the garage to get my sweat on!!

Did you still want to sign up for the Holiday Shred? I am giving you one last chance! Send me an email by midnight tonight!!

P.S. I didn’t forget about the sweatshirt giveaway winner to be announced soon!!!

Question:
Did you have a great Holiday weekend??
