Tuesday Feeding Your Soul: “Efforting”

Monday flew by(literally it so windy here), and before I knew it I was hitting the alarm at 5am for TUESDAY!!! Last night at my AKB class, I felt very sore and tired I didn’t have as much as energy as I normally do:( I think I need to take a rest day soon. I am just glad I got at least 7 hours of sleep last night, getting up this morning at 5am wasn’t 1/2 as bad as last week.

I did a Circuit Training workout this morning at the gym. What is a Circuit training workout? Well it’s fast tempo 2 minute sprints on the treadmill, and then in-between it’s anything from pushups, lunges, crunches, squats, or even hops. This ONE HOUR circuit training was like 3 Jillian’s 30 day shred video’s. I ran about 5 miles in total.

I quickly drove home and already was planning what I was going to make Hubby and I for breakfast. I made Hubby an Egg Sammy to take to work, and for myself a nice BIG BOWL of PROTEIN PACKED oats.

TUSEDAY FEEDING YOUR SOUL: “EFFORTING”

What is efforting? Well it’s not a “real” word, although ESPN likes to make it one. Efforting is when your trying for something, or better yet putting forth effort. I was think about how when you train for any sport, marathon, triathlon, and so forth your are EFFORTING! Well how doe’s that FEED one’s soul? Picture with me if you will, you have been training for a year, blood sweat and tears and also sacrificing so much for a single event in the Olympics. When you get there, or at least to the trials, your SOUL is so FULL from achievement, accomplishment, and such tenacity! When I cross a finish line, finish a project, work hard at a challenge, or even complete an amazing dinner my SOUL feels FED more then I even know.

What is it that you are “Efforting” towards, and does “Efforting” feed your soul?
