Just a couple weeks ago, Mizuno introduced the Wave Sayonara, their lightest everyday training shoe yet!! I love Mizuno’s I have worn them for this past year for running and they are so comfortable. Love that they are using the hashtag EVERYDAY fast, because I do feel faster wearing them! I also love that they are HOT PINK, you know me and my love of all things pink
“The Sayonara is low the ground, flexible, and provides an enhanced foam midsole to ensure proper cushioning. This need for speed shoe is built so runners experience a light, smooth, comfortable, and responsive “ride†without the extra bulk and weight. Through this shoe, Mizuno encourages you to “wave goodbye to slow and say hello to more energized, mezamashii running.â€
What is Mezamashii Running?
Mizuno is helping runners everywhere achieve euphoric, brilliant running. They’re calling this The Mezamashii Project. Have you heard of this, it’s pretty AWESOME!
“You don’t let the distance bother you. You don’t let the time bother you. You get out there and you just lose yourself.â€
• Versatile and performance neutral with “as-needed†support elements • U4ic midsole delivers optimal shock attenuation, durability, and superior ride that is 30% lighter than AP+ • U4ic is innovatively light and well cushioned
• G3 Sole features lightweight, superior traction
• Mizuno Wave Technology provides the perfect balance of lightweight cushioning and stability
• Blown rubber sole for optimal flexibility
I seriously wish you could feel how light these shoes are, but not too light. They are not like the typical minimalist shoe. They have a little more support and you do feel like your running on air! So far I have taken them on two 10k runs and they supported me the whole way through!
I think these would be the perfect running shoe for 1-8 mile runs, especially your speed and temp workouts! They do fit a little bigger, which is good for wiggle room and giving your feet a good amount of breathing space.
