10 Things I Have Learned About Racing

#1.  Make sure to get in fuel at least 30 minutes before the race. For me that means a peanut butter, banana and honey something.

#2. Lay out all your race gear the night before, so you are ready to go in the morning!

#3. Do not be intimidating by the folks at the start line! It’s your race!

#4. Race with friends it’s just so much more fun!

#5. Cheer on the runners as you race. It’s always encouraging to hear a "Good Job!" or "Way to Go!", even if it’s from a stranger.

#6. Enjoy the scenery throughout the race. Never forget the beauty that we all run in!

#7. Finish strong!!!! Make ever step count. It’s always worth it in the end.

#8. Post race breakfast is the best part of the race 😉

#9. The gallon of yogurt a couple hours later is even more worth it!

#10. No matter how the race went you still DID it, and for that you should be proud!
