HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!
In bed early, clothes were laid out, alarm set, and then….
HUBBY GOT SICK!!!!! I had planned on going on a run this morning with the buddies, but that didn’t happen. At 1am I woke up to a very sick Husband 🙁 Hubby has never thrown up since I have known him, I felt so bad. We think he has the flu, he has the chills, and other tummy issues. So I became the best doctor I could and was up all night taking care of him.
Needless to say, I got very little sleep and woke up and make Jimmy Dean Sausage & Cheese Balls. I know it’s not the healthiest treat, but I promised the co-workers I would bring them in today. My SIL made them for us last year on Thanksgiving and I have been raving about them ever since!
These are a once a year treat 🙂 Perfect for Christmas morning!
*****Warning, your Husband might eat them all in one sitting!
Jimmy Dean Sausage and Cheese Balls
2 (15oz) packages of Jimmy Dean Sausage
4 c. cheddar cheese, shredded (I think I should have used 2 cups)
1 1/2 c. Bisquick (I would use 2 cups)
Mix altogether in bowl and make into small balls. (May be frozen before you bake.) Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve hot.
Question: What do you make for breakfast Christmas morning?
We normally have tamales!!! I am going to miss them this year 🙁
Holiday Quote for the Day:
“Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself…â€
