It was a magnificent Monday! I slept in until 8am and woke up and enjoyed the most wonderful whole wheat waffles thanks to Fresh & Easy! The syrup that they gave me at their holiday preview party is amazing!

Then I did my last Holiday Shed video!! Can’t believe it’s over 🙁

My day was going so lovely and then I went to Target 🙁 Why why why!!!

All I know is I am done done done!!! Now I get to enjoy HOLIDAY!!!

When I got home Mr. CP did one amazing number on dinner. I got super creative and made the best lemon and garlic chicken.

Ingredients:

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup of water
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp pepper
1 tbsp oregano
2 garlic cloves minced
2 lemons
2 tbsp butter

Directions:

Mix salt, pepper, and oregano together and rub all over chicken. Place butter in a frying pan and brown chicken on both sides. Place chicken in crock pot with water and juice from one lemon. Then sauté garlic a little in the same pan as you did the chicken. Then pour on top of the chicken and cook on low for 4-5 hours.

Hubby loved it so you know it must have been good 🙂

For dessert, I enjoyed a little of the treats we made yesterday.

It’s time to retire to the den with a cup of hot tea and a Christmas movie. The den is the coziest space in the house. I am contemplating leaving the tree up all year 😉 What do you think?!
