Get Fit and Show It

A little rumbley around here. I was up last night tossing and turning! I tracked back everything I had yesterday and nothing was out of the ordinary. The only I think I could have had was too much fruit? Sometimes my stomach reacts weird when I have a lot of fruit. Why can’t I have an IRON stomach?!!!

Ok enough complaining, I am hoping for the best today!

BREAKFAST

This morning I knew the best thing for me would be a Green Monster!

Into the Vita-Mix I added:

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • 3 cups spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp flax seed
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Almondilla Vega Protein Powder

It tasted a lot sweeter this morning, not sure if it was the protein powder or the fresh blueberries.

Get Fit and Show It

When Stephanie from ecosystem’s emailed me asking if I would like to be a part of their Get Fit and Show It Challenge, I was thrilled. I think using a journal as a tool to get yourself healthier is the only way to go. I use to food journal all the time, but now with the blog I just do it online 😉

For the next two weeks I will be using one of their journals that they graciously supplied me with to keep track of my healthy living activities, recipes, my exercise regimen and a record of my nutrition each day. I also am going to do some journaling in there as well, because health is not just about food and exercise it’s about the soul too.

Their journals are 100% post-consumer recycled paper and really cute too! I love this color blue.

I like the strap on the side as well, it keeps all the loose papers I might have inside together.

Question: Do you journal? Do you think keeping a record of your healthy choices in a journal would help keep you in track?

P.S. You have one more day to enter my fun Monday Giveaway!!
