So I forgot to tell you all that I am leading a Health and Wellness Seminar at work! I guess I just got a little busy or something 😉
So last Tuesday was the first one and I had a whole 7 people show up! I was just excited that even one person showed up. I am doing each session for 30 minutes at lunch. There are a total of three sessions.
Each session has a different topic: Food, Meal Planning, and Exercise. All around learning how to be healthy from the inside out. If interested here are the slides from the first workshop (this is pre-edited, I have the saved copy on my work computer).
A lot of people had questions and it was overall a lot of fun! It was only supposed to be for 30 minutes and it lasted almost an hour! I so need to figure out how to do this on the side 😉
This morning I took off for a lovely 5 mile run and beat the heat!! The early bird does get the worm or the cool weather 😉 . Tonight I plan on hitting up some Core Synergistics.
Good thing I prepared overnight oats last night, because the last thing I have time to do this morning is cook!
Tropical Overnight Oats
In the Mix:
- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1/2 mashed banana
- handful of sliced almonds
- Honest Foodâ€™s Pumpkin and Flax Granola
- chunks of FRESH pineapple
