Marriott Rewards Program {Review}

I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Millennial Central for Marriott Rewards. I received Marriott Points to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Happy Tuesday Friends!

Today I’m blogging as part of the Marriott Rewards® Ambassador program and this is the second of a serious of three posts. My family and I stayed at the Residence Inn Portland Downtown/RiverPlace – Marriott in April and the property and location was FAB! We really liked our room and how close we were to everything downtown!  I wanted to take a minute and chat about the actual Marriott Rewards program and my experience redeeming points for our one-night stay.

In case you didn’t know, the Marriott Rewards program is free to join and every time you stay in a Marriott property, you earn points that can be redeemed for free nights (you can enroll here: Marriott.com/rewards). I am loving all our racked up points!

Based on your stays and points, you also gain status and each tier comes with even greater benefits. As a Platinum Elite member, you gain privileges such as 48-hour guaranteed availability, exclusive offers, dedicated Platinum reservation line, 50% bonus on points for stays, free wifi, and late checkout.

Here is a fun video for you all to share our experience:

*Video Update* // There is actually another nomination period in August!

Also, don’t forget that Marriott Rewards is celebrating it’s 30th birthday with a Year of Surprises. You can nominate friends or family for a surprise party at yearofsurprises.com by sharing your ideas for a celebration. I am so excited about this! The second round of nominations takes place May 1 to May 31, so enter soon (full rules at yearofsurprises.com/rules!

Disclaimer: Millennial Central is providing me with a promotional item and Marriott points in exchange for this post series, but I was not pressured to write a positive review and all opinions expressed in today’s post are mine alone.

  1. Heya just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you
    know a few of the pictures aren’t loading correctly. I’m not
    sure why but I think its a linking issue.

    I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same outcome.

  2. Pretty! This has been an incredibly wonderful article.

    Many thanks for supplying these details.
