It’s good to be back at home, but I do miss hearing the birds chirp outside our bedroom window 🙂 I might have to get a CD that has animal noises on it, it is just so relaxing.
BREAKFAST
There is one thing I couldn’t wait to have this morning and that is French Press Coffee!! I have become such a coffee snob, I really try not to be but French press is the only way to go. I enjoyed it in my new Forest Home family camp mug 🙂
I also made a great big bowl of blueberry banana whipped oats.
In the mix:
- 1/3 c coaches’ oats
- 1/3 c almond milk
- 1/3 c water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of brown sugar
- handful of flax seed
- 1/2 banana
On top:
- 1/4 cup Honest Food’s Granola
- 1/4 c blueberries (nuked for a minute)
- 1 spoonful Almond Flaxseed butter (from TJ’s)
I am loving my new notebook from ecosystem. I have been journaling like a mad women in it. I used to journal all the time before I started the blog, it feels good to get back to it.
Summer Vacation
This morning I realized Hubby and I have less then 10 days before we take off to climb Mount Whitney and then head up for our road trip to San Francisco. We have been waiting all summer to take a true vacation and it is creeping on us so quickly!!! I haven’t really planned much except the places we will sleep. So I need ideas??
Question: Have you been up the coast to San Fran? What are some great places to eat at and visit??
