Not only did I throw a big surprise party this weekend, I also had boot camp and went and saw Alice in Wonderland at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood.
Before we saw the show we at the famous Mel’s Diner across the street.
A ton of movies were filmed here. The most famous one American Gangsters.
Everything on the menu looked amazing, but I stayed away from the grease and fried food.
I ordered the veggie burger on wheat with avocado.
With a side of corn chowder.
I also stole a couple of these bad boys 😉
Jacqueline came a long with us, love her!
We had fun walking around looking like a bunch of tourist on Hollywood Blvd.

The El Capitan Theater was BEA-UTIFUL!!!!
The movie was in 3D
I thought the movie was ok. I gave it a B- in my book. It was a lot slower then I anticipated and a little creepy for my taste. We did manage to have a lot fun afterward in the gift shop 🙂
When we left we saw some true “charactersâ€.
Then went to get some drinks at the outdoor mall.
I found a neat little beverage joint that guarantees 100% satisfaction of they will give you something else.
I ordered a Soy Chai Latte, it was divine!
Such a great weekend!
