Wow what a weekend! Filled with fun, foooooooood, friends, and so much laughter.

Friday night started with dinner at my Grandparents house. My grandma made us homemade Mexican food, which isn’t on my clean eating plan but I still enjoyed a little. I need to go to my grandparents more often!

I also tried something fun with my hair (a high bun) from a tutorial I saw on Pinterest! I’ll be posting a fun video soon!

On Saturday, I hit the gym for day 16 of the live fit challenge. It’s proof that abs are made in the kitchen! I have only done three days of abs since being on the plan and I can see some definition and bye bye extra pounds from Christmas!

I also made Jamie Eason’s mini meatloaf’s and put them in a big bowl of salad. So good!

As well as these bad boys!! They are the perfect fix to a sweet tooth with out all the sugar! They are Mini Chocolate and Peanut Butter Protein Cups. The recipe is simple: Just mix together 2 scoops of chocolate protein powder, 1 tablespoons unsweetened coco powder, 3-4 tablespoons of water and pour into a mini cupcake pan. Stick in the freezer for 20 minutes and done! You will want to wait a minute for them to defrost a little before pulling them out of the pan. I topped mine with almond butter, but you could top yours with whatever nut butter you would like.

Saturday I also tried to tackle the guest room… tried, still much to do!!!

Added a little Valentine decor (a little).

The best part of Saturday was date night at HOME! I thought it would be nice, since the weather was cooler to stay home and cook a fancy dinner for two. I had been eying this Cooking Light recipe in this months magazine and just knew I had to make it!

It came out perfect! The only thing I changed was I made it with Hormel Turkey Pepperoni instead of pork. Setting the table fancy and all made the night even more special. The Hub’s and I are realizing that nights like these are often taken for granted.

After dinner Hubby lit a fire and played Stratego. When Matt and I dated we used to play board games all the time and have since forgotten how fun they are!

While playing a busted out some candy from Christmas (Cheat NIGHT).

Hubby of course kicked my butt! HE ALWAYS WINS!!!

After Church on Sunday, I got productive in the garage. My Garage Gym is starting to come together!!! I can’t wait to show you all the progress we have made!

We invited some friends from work over on Sunday night to eat pizza and brownies and play a little Rock Band and Connect! I made these brownies again from this months Cooking Light Magazine and they were AMAZING!! I just had a taste, but will be making them again!

After a wonderful weekend filled with productive projects, workouts, and partying, Matt and I relaxed on the couch and started our new books! I have to admit I have been addicted to Friends lately and have neglected reading. It felt good to start reading again!

I am off today and have another fun filled day of PT sessions, meal planning, coffee dates, haircuts and errands to run! See you all soon!

Question:
Was your weekend productive or relaxing?
