Tropical Green Smoothie Recipe

Hey friends! Happy FRIDAY! I am so sorry for the lack of posts, over here working away at camp this summer and killing the SUMMER SHRED! I am trying to be intentional to stick to clean eats and whole foods through out the summer, even with all the temptation of s’mores and ice-cream that lurk around!

If you missed my last post about my trip to ALDI check it out here. It’s really been a great place to grab fresh ingredients to make our meals at home healthy and delicious! I have really started to like the smallness of ALDI  and how quick it is to get what I need and get out!

There are also so many amazing fresh, high quality ingredients and food products that you can purchase at ALDI at such amazing prices. I literally have seen our grocery bill cut in half! All of our meals this week have been so fresh and colorful which is something I am truly passion about. I want to see lots of colors in my salads as well as in most of our meals. Fresh fruits, healthy fats and vegetables is where it’s at!
A recipe that I have been making every morning through out the Summer Shred is my GREEN MONSTER and now I have created a tropical green smoothie, that you have to try!  If you have been following me for a while, you know that my green monster is a go to for me in the mornings. Getting my greens in, healthy fats, and protein. Ok, so you want to re-create this yummy smoothie? Well head to your closest ALDI and pick up these ingredients


  • 2-3 cups SimplyNature® Chopped Kale (Organic)
  • 1 Organic Banana
  • 1 8oz Friendly Farms Tropical Fruit Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 cup Seasons Choice Frozen Mixed Fruit
  • 1 cup SimplyNature® Vanilla Almond Milk
  • 1/2 cup Ice
