Valentines Dinner for 6

This Valentines Day my Mamma and Step Dad had us over for a fancy steak dinner. This was the best idea ever! I love sitting around the table with the people I LOVE. Dinner parties ROCK!

Hubby and I decided to get all dressed up. I rarely wear heals and eyeliner so I have to take every chance I can get. I am a "girly" girl at heart 🙂

Can you believe I have had these heals for almost 3 years and have NEVER worn them?!

 

On the menu: ribeye steaks sautéed mushrooms twice baked potatoes, salad, red velvet cake, and chocolate covered strawberries.  Oh yes I almost forgot the wine 🙂

I made a lighter twice baked potato. I will share the recipe soon.

Everyone brought reds.

My step Dad got this fancy Wine Aerator, it was a lot of fun to use.

We brought one of my favorite Cabs. I enjoyed a glass or two.

All the food was to die for. I only ate 1/4 of my steak, but every bite was amazing!

I can’t wait to share this potato recipe with all of you!

 

I ate two bowls of the salad. Dried Cranberries, Blue Cheese, Candied Pecans, and Pear dressing. One happy salad!

Then this bad boy came out.

This isn’t just a regular cake, this is RED VELVET cheesecake!!!!!

+ chocolate covered strawberries!!!!

I ate it all 🙂

We were out way past this girls bedtime so I woke up SUPER LATE(for me) this morning (8am). But I still managed to make a killer omelet with leftovers from our build your own pizza night!!!

In the Mix:

• Peppers
• Mushrooms
• Olives
• 3 eggs
• two sun dried tomatoes
• spinach

Piled on top:

• 1/4 avocado
• Fage

FP COFFEE!!!!!!

 

I have to day off and have no real plans….we shall see how productive it is 🙂
