Happy RAINY Thursday! Love waking up to the sound of the rain 🙂

We are only 9 days away from Christmas (still need gift ideas, stop by my shop) and I thought it would be a good idea to do a little check up on those Holiday Goals.

#1. Stick to eating two sweets a week. (almost slipped up last week but I am back on track. )

#2. Get in 4 days of good cardio workout. (YEP)

#3. Enjoy two “adult” beverages a week. (On it!)

#4.  Have a DATE night one night a week again with just Hubby and I. (almost, just not alone)

#5. Spending 10-20 minutes (at least) a day reading scripture and really remembering the meaning of the season! (getting better!)

#6. Eating at home at least 6 nights a week! (NOPE NOPE NOPE, but we aren’t spending a dime)

#7. Make more gifts with meaning behind them. not just getting “things”. (I made bread and cookie jars as well as baskets 🙂 )

#8. LAUGH MORE! Must go to Disneyland again! (Going the week after Christmas! )

#9. Helping out a charity, with funds or with service. or shoot BOTH! (Doing this today)

#10. Do a Holiday race (I did TWO).

Need to work on #5 and #1!!!

My last bowl of Cranberry Oats for the season :(  Until next year!

When I went into the kitchen this morning I saw a package waiting for me 🙂 What could it be? A gift from F&E!!!! How sweet are they?! Pumpkin Pecan Pancake and Waffle Mix, Hot Chocolate Shavings, and Cranberry Bread! Thanks friends!

Today I am volunteering at our local food pantry! I am excited, because I don’t get many opportunities during the week to do community service. I swear I have the best job in the world, because they encourage us to take two days off of work during the year to do some kind charitable work! How cool is that?

Question: When was the last time you had the chance to do some community service? What did you do?
