6 Simple Ingredients

Morning Ya’ll!

Yesterday I was one little Martha running around in the kitchen!! I have my Health and Wellness Workshop today and I wanted to bring them in a special treat so I made homemade granola bars with ingredients I already had on hand.

This recipe was really simple:

  • 2 cups mountain trail mix (you could use any healthy trail mix)
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and then press into an 8×8 pan and stick in the fridge for 30 minutes or more.

I cut them up into bars and now they are ready to enjoy :)

I also prepped a Pot Roast for my BFF Ging. Hubby and I are taking them dinner tonight and get to see baby Jenna again :)  Pot Roast recipe to come soon!

Breakfast

After my sweat fest last night I forgot to eat so when I woke up this morning I had some leftover protein pancakes from this weekend 🙂

Another easy recipe!!

Protein Pancakes

Serves 2

  • 1 cup of egg whites
  • 1 cup of rolled oats
  • 1 cup of cottage cheese
  • 1 cup frozen or fresh blueberries

Take these ingredients(minus the blueberries), blend them in a blender, and pour into a bowl. Then add blueberries and mix.  Cook them like you would regular pancakes.

I have 5 minutes to get out the door!!

See you later alligators!

Question: What’s the simplest recipe you know?
