Last night’s birthday wasn’t just a meal it was an experience!
I took Hubby to the Melting Pot. A place we both had never been to and I have heard amazing reviews about it.
We both loved the fact that it was a four course meal that included, bread and cheese, salad (I was happy about this), veggies, meat, and dessert!
Best part was, you got to PLAY with your food!
The set up is fun. They place a fondue pot in the middle of your table and fill it with wonderful things to dip all your food in. We started with bread, veggies, and green apples.
Never new I would enjoy cauliflower so much!
I order a glass of the 7 Hand Cab.
After we devoured our cheese and things I had a California salad (we also took Hubby’s to-go so I can enjoy it later).
I loved that there was a lot of time in between our courses. We had fun chatting about the future and being silly of course. Don’t you just love my flashy earrings!
For our main course we ordered the Surf and Turf and something else that I can’t remember the name of. It had a little bit of everything, plus Hubby’s favorite Filet Minion.
I couldn’t wait to eat the SHRIMP!
MMMM Veggies!
They gave us a lot of wonderful dipping sauces.
We learned all the different times for cooking each meat and then we went at it!
It was fun making our own food!
The pot was HOT!
All of the seafood and meat was AMAZING. I think my favorite thing to cook was the mushrooms in the tempura batter 🙂
I couldn’t believe I still had room for dessert!!
More Birthday Wishes!
The dessert tray was filled with strawberries, bananas, chocolate covered marshmallows, rice crispy treats, and a giant piece of cheesecake!
We ordered the chocolate peanut butter fondue 🙂
The Bananas were my favorite!!!
They even gave us some Champaign to go along with our chocolate!
Cheers to another YEAR of happiness!
The whole experience took us three hours and every minute was amazing!!!
