Creature of Habit

So I am a creature of habit. I can eat the same thing for lunch all week and it doesn’t bother me 🙂 Good thing I made a huge pot of butternut squash soup for the week.

I added a little Greek Yogurt to my soup and it added the perfect amount of creaminess.

I have just found my new favorite crackers!!! OH MY these are good. You must go out and get some today!

You really only need one, which is good since they are 100 calories each. I love the taste and texture. Just wish they weren’t almost $4 a box 🙁

After work I went to Tom & Ian’s Core Interval Training class and it kicked my bootie!! So glad my schedule allows me to go now! 

When I got home I was so happy Mr.CP was slaving in the kitchen all day to make us a wonderful supper 🙂

  • 1.25 lb lean ground turkey (browned a little before throwing in)
  • 1 packet mccormick low sodium chili seasoning
  • 1 diced red onion
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans kidney beans
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can black beans
  • 1 (14.5oz) can corn
  • 1 (14.5oz) can butter beans
  • 2 TB chili powder
  • 2 TB cumin
  • 1 TB garlic powder
  • 1 TB smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • the chili cooked for about 8-10 hours on low.
