Last night Megan and I had a blast together at the Fresh and Easy exclusive sneak preview of their new line of prepared meals called Eat Well. We arrived a little early so we stopped by a very swanky grocery store in the middle of LA.
We were excited to find some pasta samples to hold us over until dinner.

Come on in. This time we got to see a lot more of their office and of course it was as stylish as ever.
When we arrived they greeted us with wine 😉
I first tried a glass of their OGIO Sparkling Wine, Extra Dry. This would be perfect for the summer. Very light and sweet.
Later I tried some their Cab Fran. I am a big Cab fan so I was impressed!
We enjoyed conversation and wine while they prepared dinner in the “Kitchen tableâ€.
They had veggie and hummus to enjoy while we waited, but I was too busy chatting away to try any 🙁

Learning all about their new EatWell line.
I really like their new line because it is all REAL FOOD ready to grab and go! Also all of the ingredients and nutrition facts are right on the front so you don’t have to search for them on the back.
Next Wednesday they are launching their first 17 new EatWell items which include Fresh Ready Meals, Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, and Sushi!
I love that they invite their customers in to give feedback about how they can serve them better.

Time for Cab
Megan and I spoke with the Chef Katie for a long time. We asked her questions about how she comes up with all of these amazing recipes! Like all F&E employees she was honest and shared with us a wealth of interesting knowledge. I never new how much went into preparing food for a grocery store.

New Friends
While we enjoyed dinner, John and Eddie gave us some briefing about how the EatWell line started. John is the “CHIEFâ€. He deals with the product and Eddie is the “Label Masterâ€.

After dinner, we got a tour of the F&E test kitchen. This is where the random employees (IT GUYS) try out the goods.
