Last night Hubby and I SLAVED worked in the kitchen to create a Fall Love Feast for our family. I hadn’t seen my parents in a while and I knew it was about time to have them over for a night of dinner and games 🙂
I found some wonderful recipes in my Cooking Light Magazine that I just knew would be perfect for the evening.
On the menu: Roasted Breast of Chicken with Pinot Noir Sauce, Rosemary Roasted Red Potatoes, and Buttered Green Beans and Mushrooms. This was not NO 20 minute meal, but well worth every minute!!
Check out that crisp!
The sauce was a BIG hit!
As well as the green beans, not one left in the bowl!
Decor 🙂
My Plate 🙂
I enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner 🙂
Of course we all had to share our guns at the table…love my family!
We all gathered in the living room for some Apples to Apples!
And more fun!
Baking in the oven was Tina’s Apple Crisp! I just love this recipe it is so easy and always a big hit!!!
Topped off with a little vanilla bean ice-cream 🙂
Such a fun and enjoyable evening, I just love having my fam over. I am about to make a GM and head off to work! Have a beautiful Sunday.
Question: When was the last time you made a “Fancy†dinner for someone?
