This morning I did Jillian’s Yoga Meltdown DVD. I started with the advanced level. (Yes, I did it in my jammies).
It was interesting, not your typical yoga. But does Jillian ever do anything typical?? It was a lot of the same yoga poses that I am used to, but with added movement and many repetitions. My legs are a little sore as I sit here. It got my heart rate up a little, but not as intense as HOT yoga! I would recommend this DVD for people who want a off day from running or cycling, it was nice to mix things up a bit and it’s only 30 minutes. I will be hitting KB tonight for a little more cardio and strength.
Look what has come into full bloom 🙂
BREAKFAST
I woke up starving this morning! I wasn’t sure what I really wanted to make but I knew I wanted to try something different so I decided to try Kath’s SIAB. In the Vita-Mix I added 3 cups of spinach, 1 cup of almond milk, a little Greek yogurt, 1 banana, 1/4 cup of blueberries, and a handful of ice.
The wonderful people over at Vega sent me this Vanilla Almondilla to try out. It’s a protein powder that you can just add to water or milk, shake and go! I am not a big fan of drinking just straight protein powders, but I love adding them to my smoothies. I threw in one tbsp. I really loved the flavor! I love anything with vanilla and almonds, a great combo! Best thing about their products is that they are 100% natural!
I also added in my new favorite cereal 🙂
With a drizzle of Maranatha PB on top.
Such a fun way to eat a smoothie.
Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it’s off to work I go….
Question: What’s the one thing you would love to try and cook, but just haven’t gotten around to it yet??
My Answer: I really want to try making chocolate soufflé!
