Her Wednesday Workout Tips: A Fellow Bloggers Boot Camp

Beep Beep Beep, I am starting to LOATH the sound of my alarm clock, another 5am WAKEUP call. I swear if it wasn’t for my running buddy I would I would have just rolled over and went right back to bed. Knowing that someone was waiting for me this morning I got my butt up and ran 4 EASY MILES. After our run “Fast Jill” and I chatted for a while, we are both so passionate about running smart, she told me about a book that she just read about training smarter and she let me barrow it🙂

Has anyone read this book before?

It was so COLD this morning that I didn’t have the energy to make breakfast, but I was craving some of this.

So I made some OATS of course, hoping they would warm me right up, and they did!

In the pot: 1/2 c oats, 1/2 c Hemp Milk, 1/2 c Water, 1/2 banana, pinch of cinnamon, and a tbsp of vanilla and flax seed. Stir until all blended together.

In the Bowl: 2 tbsp wheat berries, Bobbi’s Granola Greatness, 1/4 c of blueberries, 1 spoonful of Greek Yogurt, and 1 tbsp of Apple butter.

A FELLOW BLOGGERS BOOT CAMP

I love my fellow bloggers, they always inspire me and encourage me to work harder and mix things up a bit. So tonight I am going to try Meghan’s Stairwell Boot Camp!!! I don’t have a stairwell so I just did high knees in place of them.

Meghann’s Stairwell Boot Camp:

First she started with a 20 minute warm up run around her apartment complex.

Next she repeated the routine below 5 times

  • 5 Sprints up and down my stairwell (she lives on the second floor)
  • 1 minute Jump Rope (with an actual jump rope!)
  • 10 Push Ups
  • 50 Crunches
  • 50 Butt Kicks
  • 50 Jumping Jacks
  • 50 Punches
