Why did I eat Mexican food before a long run!!! I am not sure what I was thinking when I suggested we try a new local Mexican place for date night!!! But it was kinda cool that we had the back of the restaurant to ourselves!
I couldn’t keep my hands out of the chips and salsa! It’s my weakness!
I ordered an all chicken burrito with red sauce on top. On the side came rice and beans, which I devoured but only ate half of the burrito.
Because I saved a bit of room I was told we had to try their Chocolate Chimichunga! It’s a candy bar (we got the Snicker bar) wrapped in a tortilla and then fried. Then they top it with vanilla icecream, whip cream, Carmel, and chocolate sauce!!!!!! Holy Moley!
Let’s just say FOOD COMA!!!
It’s been a long week and I still had one more workout to get in before I get to REST tomorrow!! I set the alarm one more time for 4:30am and got in an amazing 9.25 mile run with the gang even with the heavy tummy!
Then I refueled with warm Oats + Granola = Amazing!!!
Back to work!!!
