I was so sad to say goodbye to our mini Mammoth vacation, but I was excited to see the snow falling one last time before we left 🙂 This place is truly breath taking!
Before we got out of town, we decided to grab some warm drinks and take the Gondola to the top of the mountain for one last view from the top.
Of course there was a Starbucks on the mountain!
Hubby being silly..I love this man!
I brought my coffee mug on the trip so I was already was set to go when we left the cabin.
Picture Stop
Up the hill we go!
Brian and Joe were in a deep discussion about how the whole Gondola process works. So deep in thought.
UP UP and AWAY!
I was kind of wanting to hit the slopes one more time. Next time we must stay longer!
The boys being boys
I think we will all have enough pictures for a lifetime 🙂
After our little Gondola ride we set off for Bishop and found a neat little Deli to have lunch in. We too the signs advice.
Raymond’s Deli is a very interesting dive, a real hidden treasure.
The decor was very unique and eclectic.
There were so many sandwich choices on the menu, I didn’t know where to start.
I decided to go with the “Soy†U Like Tofu.
Asian marinated tofu, lettuce, carrots, sprouts, and tomatoes. With hummus on whole wheat bread.
MMMM..I am so glad we found this place!!!
We had a side of home made pasta salad that was quite delicious.
If ever in Boshop, CA you must drop in!!

The 5 hour trip home flew right by!
Especially with all the great company 😉
When we got in to town we saw this wonderful rainbow to welcome us home!
We said our goodbyes to our lovely friends and then Hubby and I decided to have one more last dinner out before we got back to reality.
We went to Red Robin, (Hubby’s choice) and I ordered the regular sized Orange Wheat Beer…REGULAR MY BUTT!! This thing was the size of my forearm!
I do love that Red Robin has a nutritional menu that you can see all of their facts.
I went with a side salad…
plus a Boca Burger. Together they were 425 calories with the beer that was a filling meal!!
I am so tired I could just fall asleep right now and it’s only 7:30!!! I think I will play with Bosco and then call it a night. Tomorrow I am taking a personal health day, as I need a day of rest after the busy weekend!!
I am excited to be back to our own bed with Hubby the twin was just a little to snug 🙂 I can’t wait until our next road trip with the gang!
Good Night!
