Today was a play day for Hubby and I 🙂 We were going to go to Disneyland, but decided it was a holiday, and long lines would be no fun. Instead we hit up the apple orchards in Oak Glen and went shopping 🙂
We tasted so many different kinds of apples and now I am a huge fan of Honey Crisps! We also got some apple butter and tried out several new jellies and butters, check out these flavors…
Even though we didn’t go to Dland we still saw Pirates!!
After we left the apple picking fun we went to the mall! I needed a new jacket and hubby needed some jeans so we went on a hunt.
Hubby and I always have the best time shopping together. We both love to just take our time and browse. We don’t really care if we walk away with anything as long as we are spending time together that’s really all that matters. Well and the mall pretzels of course 😉
We met up with our friends Sandy and Johnny for dinner at the Yard House for some food and Monday night football of course.
I ordered the Mediterranean Grilled Veggie sandwich on a whole wheat bun with a salad.
It was just like what I made last night but in a burger form. Portebello mushrooms, grilled onions, tomatoes, fetta cheese, and marinara sauce.
Mmmmm!
The company was great as always! Love these two.
We all split the biggest Oreo Cooke sundae ever!!
Man what a fun day with my best friend! Love him like a fat kid loves cake 😉
