Scorpions and Skillets + Weekend Wrap-Up

Happy Monday Folks!

Last night the Hub’s and I had our traditional Sunday night ritual ๐Ÿ™‚ Football + an Italian dinner! It’s the one night of week we have been super intentional about enjoying together and I love it!

I whipped up a little pasta dish with all the veggies from the garden; tomatoes, zucchini, portibello mushrooms (from the store), eggplant, garlic, basil and onion.


The whole house smelt amazing. I also added in some chicken sausage from Fresh & Easy and topped all the goodness on some whole wheat penne.


With a little vino and football! After football we watched the movie “Burn after Reading”, I think I got dumber watching it! Don’t waste your time!

Then it was on to Monday morning bootcamp. Can’t wait to share with you all the circuit we did today. It will be up for tomorrow 20 minute Tuesday post. After teaching, I went to the gym and couldn’t wait to bust out the MTC book!! I took Saturday off and only ran 3 miles Sunday so I was refreshed and ready!!!

Today I did scorpion Pushups and they were killer!!! I had to push myself to do two sets of 20!


My arms were screaming!! There was also triceps pushups, military presses, jump squats, squat thrusts and so much more!


To finish it all out I did 5-30 second sprints, 5-30 second jogs on the treadmill. Jillian really kicked my bootie!


I came home and made a huge veggie scramble!!


Plated on two corn tortillas and added a little salsa.


The rest of the morning was spent cleaning the house, something I try and do every Monday, it helps to kick off the week to a good start!


The Hubs and friends are off to D-land for the day ๐Ÿ™‚ That’s two times this month!!! I am finally getting good use out of my annual pass!
