This was our 5th McCormick Super Bowl party and the first one with a ton of kids! I remember 5 years ago when we all were DINKS  (double income no kids).

This year I stepped up the theme a bit and had a Chili Bar and Kids Corner inspired by Pinterest. Every year I make the main dish and everyone else brings yummy appetizers and desserts.

I got to put one of my Christmas presents to use! This three pot crockpot was perfect to keep food warm.

We also had  bounce house that was a huge hit for adults and children. Winking smile

I was too busy chatting with friends, enjoying the game, (ok not really) and playing with the kiddos to take any party pictures! I guess that’s what happens when you become a Mom and appreciate all the adult time you can get. Winking smile

Questions: What did you do for the Super Bowl? Who were you rooting for?

  3. I love the food theme. It looks like it was a ton of fun!!! Ooooh the days of double income and no children, sometimes I forget what we did with our weekends;) I looks like you had a great time!

  4. Wow! Nice spread! Your guests were quite lucky!
I only watched the half-time show, so I don’t think that counts as me “watching” the Superbowl 🙂

  5. I was rooting for the Seahawks and even though they won I wish we could have had a better game to watch! We just stayed in and watched it on the couch, but it was nice and relaxing before a busy week!

  6. I’ve never heard that term! So what are you now? We were DINKS for a while so now are we… SIMKs or SITKs? (Single Income Multiple/Two Kids) :)I like it!
