Tonight I had a blast from the past! I remember my Athletic Banquet, it was a time to reminisce about all that we had accomplished throughout our season…oh the days.
Well tonight it was my turn to be on the other side and be the one giving out the awards 🙂 I had a blast being an Athletic Director this year!!!
Yes, being an Athletic Director and having a full time job was difficult at times, but I fell in love with the kids. They had wonderful spirits no matter if they were losing or winning, the way sports should be 🙂 This small school has showed me a whole new level of appreciation for community!
After the banquet Hubby and I met up with some friends for some Gourmet Pizza Shop! Because we were late I got to enjoy some of the leftovers. This pizza was a major carbo load! A pizza topped with pasta, ricotta, and sundried tomatoes. I ditched the cheese on top.
Off to bed. Friday Fun Run @ 5:30am!!!
