My Tuesday Track Workout took place on the road this evening. I need to do 3X1600â€™s (or 3 miles) with a 400 rest in between (quarter of a mile). This was a workout that sounded a lot better on the road 🙂
This was my first run in the heat this year. It was about 80 degrees and my body took some time to adjust. After I warmed up for about 15 minutes (1.56 miles) I sprinted off for the main set. I hit my target pace right on except for my last mile. All of a sudden I had to start going up hill, but I managed to come in at 7:15 not too bad for the climb at the end! Letâ€™s just say when I was done, I glistened 🙂
Legs are still feeling pretty tight so I did more of the foam roller and think I might need a MASSAGE!!!
Tuesdayâ€™s have been all about quick and easy meals to-go! Whatâ€™s easy to take out? TACOS! I have my Womenâ€™s Study at 6:30 so I have about 20 minutes to change + cook. Tonight I made the best chicken tacos. I threw some of F&Eâ€™s Chicken Asada in a pan with a little EVOO along with green peppers, pineapple, and a tomatoes.
All of this goodness went into two ww tortillas with black beans + FAGE.

This might be the best mocktail I have ever created! I mixed a little cheribundi with club soda and threw in a whole LIME! OH WOW! Party in my mouth 🙂
Our Womenâ€™s Study was great as always! I really have enjoyed the book â€œDancing With my Fatherâ€. It has taught me how to be FREE and dance through life with PURE JOY!!!
