Wednesday Workout Tip: Around the World

Well plans didn’t go as I thought this morning. Last night Hubby and I stayed up talking LATE, which is a good thing but I knew I wouldn’t make it to my 5am class. I decided I will try again on Monday and got in the sleep I needed. Sleep to me is VERY important!! I have my track workout tonight and I wanted to be well rested.

BREAKFAST

OIAJ 🙂 I was excited to try another batch of oats in my Barney Butter AB. The first time I made my oats in a jar I just poured them into the jar, I didn’t actually cook them in the jar. I was a little worried there would be a big explosion! I put my instant oats in their for 1:30.

No worries, the jar pulled through. It did melt a little, but nothing I couldn’t eat out of.

As you can see there was a little burning along the rim. There must have still be foil stuck to it.

In the mix:

  • 1 packed of TJ’s Instant Organic Brown Sugar Oatmeal
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tbsp Fage

Barney Butter you have served me well 😉

I also had a little fresh squeezed OJ.

All enjoyed in my favorite morning spot.

WEDNESDAY WORKOUT TIP: Around the World

Your probably wondering what the heck is “around the world” . Well I planned on making a video, but haven’t gotten there quite yet. Instead I will explain and show you the video tonight.

An around the world is a short 2-5 minute circuit that is KILLER! You can chose how many you want to do, I normally do 10 at KB. You do the same circuit 10 times, but each thing that’s in the circuit you count down until you get to one.

Circuit #1: 10 Jumping Jacks, 10 Jump Squats,10 Pushups,10 Mountain Climbers,10 Crunches.

Circuit #2: 9 Jumping Jacks, 9 Jump Squats, 9 Pushups, 9 Mountain Climbers, 9 Crunches..

Circuit #4: 8 Jumping Jacks, 8 Jump Squats, 8 Pushups, 8 Mountain Climbers, 8 Crunches..

Circuit #5: 7 Jumping Jacks, 7 Jump Squats, 7 Pushups, 7 Mountain Climbers, 7 Crunches..

Circuit #6: 6 Jumping Jacks, 6 Jump Squats, 6 Pushups, 6 Mountain Climbers, 6 Crunches..

and so on until you get down to 1!

I know that it might sound confusing, but it’s really simple. I know the video will help 🙂

Question: Have you ever heard of around the worlds?
