Top of the morning to you all 😉
BREAKFAST
I had breakfast at my desk this morning , because I came in super early!! The school I AD at has it’s first softball game this afternoon and I wanted to be a sweet AD and go cheer on my ladies.
I knew I would have wake up early this morning and breakfast would have to be quick. So I made Muesli last night for an easy grab and go!
Last night’s mix:
- 3/4 c rolled oats
- 1/2 c Fage
- Splash of Almond milk
- 1 cup frozen berries
This morning I threw in some sliced almonds, unsweetened coconut, and a drizzle of honey. It tasted AMAZING! I always forget how much I love Muesli 🙂

TUESDAY’S BL TIP
Today’s tip on balanced living is about Cookie Friday a wonderful idea from Tina over at Carrot’s N Cake. I love Tina’s blog! She really helps me keep me life a little more balanced every day. Cookie Friday is a little celebration of all the hard work she does all through the week. I don’t believe that you should REWARD your healthy habits with food all the time, actually it should be very little of the time, but I just love the idea of Cookie Friday.
Maybe cookies aren’t your thing, but is there a little treat that you would love to indulge in just a little? My “Cookie Friday†is Starbucks. For budget reasons I try and stay away from it, but when Friday rolls around I get a little extra giddy when I walk through their doors. It is ok to give yourself a little treat now and then to keep yourself balanced!!
