Happy Saturday morning 🙂
Yesterday was jammed packed. In the morning I got in a 6 mile “Fun†run which turned into a tempo run. We then we sat around the table and had oats and coffee for hours ;) I am so excited because I have a new schedule that will allow me to do this!!
Starting this Monday I am moving into a new department at work and I am pretty stoked about it. One of the biggest changes will be my schedule. I will be working Friday’s 12-8:30pm and Saturdays 8-4:30 and occasional Sunday’s. I really had to pray long and hard abut whether or not I wanted to sacrifice my weekends, but with Hubby’s schedule being so flexible it could really work. Plus I am excited about sleeping in on weekdays and being able to run errands when stores are WAY LESS crowded! Change is good 🙂
Breakfast
I got home from work around 9pm last night and went straight to bed. When I woke up this morning at 6:30am with NO ALARM I was all disoriented and was thinking I had missed something. I got up and made myself some FP!
Oh yes I do love thee.
Along with some Apple Crisp Oats
In the Mix:
- 1/2 c Coach’s Oats + 1/2 c water + 1/2 c almond milk
- 1 tbsp flax seed
- 1/2 mashed up banana
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Toppings:
- 1 small chopped apple nuked with cinnamon for 1:30
- F&E Mountain Trail Mix
- Nature’s Path Pumpkin Flax Granola
- Sliced Almonds
- 1 spoonful Almond butter
A great energizing breakfast.
For being my last weekend off for awhile it sure is busy busy.
Today I have a 2 hour boot camp where I will be leading ab workouts with a partner, then a meeting for Need A Sitter, then off to a good friends birthday party!
Tomorrow I have a 20 miler in the morning, church, another birthday party, I teach Kickboxing in the evening, then will swing by the end of a friends housewarming party. Sigh…..LIFE IS SWEET!
Question: Do you enjoy change?
