Day of Rest

That is not what today was!!!!

This morning started with my BFF’s daughter Jenna’s baptism.

Such a beautiful family! Jenna was a little upset 🙁

Much better. She is such a cutie!

Look who else came. Sweet Evelyn.

After church we went out to the Gourmet Pizza Shop for lunch. I had the BBQ Chicken Pizza, minus the cheese. Sorry for the poor picture, I let someone take the picture for me.

Then it was off to meet my friend Tiff for a little coffee shop date 🙂

After our lovely coffee date I changed into my running shoes and hit the pavement with my two favorite ladies. (picture taken from our Holiday Fun Run). We did 8 wonderful miles!!

Then it was on to dinner with my cousins.

We started with a glass of San Antonio Wine, a very sweet like grape juice wine.

On the menu was Matt’s juicy vinegar chicken…

Brown Rice

and Cranberry Salad.

We enjoyed lovely conversation and Hubby actually liked this WINE!!!

For dessert my cousin Celina made us strawberry shortcake. The perfect ending to our healthy and delicious dinner.

Time to crawl in to bed and read for the rest of this wonderful Sunday 🙂
