What a great day! Man I donâ€™t know how anyone can live on less then 5 hours of sleep a night. I felt so much more productive and sharp today after a wonderful night of sleep! On my way home from work I had two things on my mind Jillian plus Chili. Chili is on the menu this week and I wanted to make sure I could get a workout in before dinner.
I decided to do Jillianâ€™s 30 minute Shred DVD, level 2! I forgot how HARD her Shred DVDâ€™s is. I struggled doing thrust squats, but I made it!
How funny is this? Look what came in the mail today!!! Just in time 🙂
I made an easy DUMP Chili my own recipeâ€¦I ll have to read Cooking Lightâ€™s.
- 1 can of white beans
- 1 can of black beans
- 1 can of kidney beans
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 can whole tomatoes peeled
- 1 16 oz package of fresh ground turkey
Not Pictured Spices:
garlic, cumin, chili pepper, and paprika.
I also made Hubbyâ€™s favorite, Honey Cornbread and I added real corn to it!
This recipe is sooooooo easy, just cook meat with spices and then dump all drained cans into a big pot and cook for 15-20 minutes.
The Cornbread comes out perfect every time!

What a wonderful dinner, this makes 4 nights of cooking at home!!! Starting off on the right foot 🙂
Today I did managed to meet my mini goal, random acts of kindness..sharing + serving! It was actually a lot of fun and I am hope that I keep up the habit of serving others over myself!
Speaking of helping others I have to go help my brother with something so I gotta run! I leave you with the most spoiled DOG ever!
