Can you believe today is June 1st?! Half way through 2010! Where did the year go?

This morning I made a wonderful Bobbi McGriddle

2 WW waffles+1egg+Light Swiss Cheese+2 slices Turkey Bacon+a drizzle of Pure Maple Syrup

I wanted to make sure I got a filling breakfast in, because I am headed out to the beach to meet up with some friends for a long bike ride.

Bags are packed..

Bike is READY! I am off!

It is half way into 2010 and it is time to re-evaluate our goals. I think this is a great time for everyone to do this. It reminds us of what we laid out for the year and we still have time to catch up 😉

#1. Read through the entire Bible (not doing so great!)
#2. Take a Mental Health day once a month so that I can BE STILL. (I have been practicing this)
#3. This year is SAVING year for Hubby and I. We really want to start seriously saving for the future and this is our big year to do that. We will not be taking any vacations out of the state, buying any new clothes, house furnishings, or any “extras” we will be truly living out the SIMPLE LIFE challenge.( WE HAVE A SUMMER BUDGET)
#4. Become a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant though the American Fitness Professionals and Associates (AFPA). ( Ordered supplies through a different company)
#5. Date night must happen EVERY week! (we have been doing this!)
#6. Maintain being in the best shape of my life by Running, practicing Hot Yoga and Kickboxing! ( ON TRACK)
#7. Cook at least 4 nights a week.(Been 3 but will turn into more this summer)
#8. Read one book every other month. (YA THIS IS TOO HARD)
#9. Spend more time with my Grandparents. (still working on)

and #10 IMPROVE THE BLOG! (Always a work in progress)

I feel good about where I have come so far in my GOALS for 2010, but now it is time to STEP IT UP and finish strong!

Question: How are your goals for 2010 working out??

One response to “Half Way”

  1. I’m amazed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both equally educative and
engaging, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head.

The issue is an issue that not enough people are speaking
intelligently about. I am very happy I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.
