More questions answered…

I know this is not a question, but I received this comment today in response to Question #1 from yesterday.

Comment: This is a comment regarding the question you got and answered yesterday on your blog. I think the person who asked the question has a point but did not phrase it correctly. I do not think you push your faith on others but when you talk about your faith it makes people like me who are not of your religion or I might not have a religion feel very uncomfortable. I realize that this is YOUR blog and you are free to talk about what you want but just realize that when you talk about your faith, it may make others uneasy. I know that most people believe in something but talking about it on your blog is like someone talking about their political affiliations day in and day out. You know everyone has an affiliation but sometimes you just want them to keep it private. Sometimes people just don’t relate to what you are saying. I actually want to read more stuff about running and training. It is also crazy how you try to do too many things and then collapse in a heap !
at the end of the day. That doesn’t seem very balance.

Response: I think that it is interesting how when one talks about faith or politics people feel uneasy. I am just expressing who I am in my blog and once again my faith is part of that just like running and healthy eating. I won’t keep my faith private and I do not feel like I need to. I would like to know why it makes people feel uneasy???  Yes I do, do a lot!!! I might collapse for a moment, but it is my FAITH and  support that gets me up every morning with a smile on my face. I AM NOT PERFECT and I don’t ever want to come off that way. I may not be perfectly balanced, but I am learning how to be more and more each day.

Q: Do you always honor your hunger and cravings? How do you do that and balance a healthy weight?

I don’t have a lot of hunger cravings, only about once a month 🙂 When I do get those cravings I make sure to give in a little, but watch my portions. I balance my healthy weight by making sure to EAT CLEAN 80% of the time and working out at least 5 days a week. Without healthy eating and exercise I could not keep my “Healthy” weight.

Q: How fast can you run a mile?

Love this question, because I just ran my fastest mile at age 27 at 5:47!!!

Q: What religious denomination are you? Love when blogs can incorporate religion in with their main topics!

I am not a big fan of the word “religion”, but I guess I would say I am Christian (Christ Follower). I try and live a life that is glorifying God in all that I do.

Q: I was wondering how old are you?, I want to know how long took you to get to the ideas that you have now.

I am proud to say I am 27 🙂 I started living a truly healthy lifestyle at age 24. It took a while and I am still learning so much everyday!

Q: And I’ll take the opportunity to ask another!… Do you speak Spanish, I saw your dad’s last name is Trujillo…so I figure you have family in Mexico or something

I speak un poquito espanol 🙂 I have always wanted to learn and it is on my bucket list!

Q: How tall are you and how much do you weigh?

I am 5’5 and weight between 126-128.

More to come!
