Hubby and I are going to Mammoth, CA this Friday with three other couples for a birthday celebration weekend!!! Our friend Brian is celebrating his 29th birthday and he invited us to join him for the big day ;) I haven’t been to Mammoth in almost 10 years. I went every year in High school for Cross Country camp in the summer, but have never been there in the winter. We are renting a big cabin and will be hitting the slopes for a little snowboarding action.
The last time I went snowboarding I was 18 and the next day I could barely walk, let’s just hope this time goes better 🙂 I do have a 15 mile run on my marathon training plan and I am thinking about splitting it up on Saturday and Sunday, at least I will get the miles in 😉
BREAKFAST
This morning I went to make a bowl of oats and I realized I was all out!!! So I decided to make a GM. I do miss my GM’s though.
In the Vita-Mix
- 1 c soy milk
- 3 cups baby spinach
- 1/4 c frozen blueberries
- 1 c ice
- 1 banana
- tbsp flax seed

Every since I started training again for my next marathon I have been curious about how many calories I have been eating. I am not a big calorie counter, but today just for kicks I am going to figure out how many calories I have been eating. I want to say that I have been eating 1,800-2,000, but who knows.
First Meal: Green Monster = 216 (ok not enough)
I think I shall grab a piece of toast with AB before I run out the door, which = 185
Brining my breakfast total to = 401 calories
Question: Do you count calories??
